Donald Trump is still on a roll with the racism thing, AND he managed to bring back all that old nonsense about President Obama’s birth certificate. It’s almost impressive.
At a New Hampshire rally last night, Donald Trump opened up the floor for questions, and the very first one was a xenophobic tirade against Muslims from a guy who thinks the President is not an American.
John McCain faced a similar problem at one of his town halls back in 2011, and he dealt with it reasonably well - saying that Obama was a Christian and a good family man who happened to have political views McCain disagreed with.
Here’s how Trump dealt with it.
“We’re gonna be looking at a lot of different things. And, you know, a lot of people are saying that, and a lot of people are saying that bad things are happening out there. We’re going to be looking at that and plenty of other things."
Maybe Trump felt that he couldn’t correct the guy without people turning on him, since recent polls show that MORE THAN HALF of Trump’s supporters believe Obama is a Muslim. In any event, now he’s getting blowback from both Democrats and Republicans.
