Adorable Kid Hiccups His Way Through the National Anthem

If I had to sing the national anthem in front of a stadium full of people, I’d be terrified. If I got the hiccups in the middle of it? Nope, sorry sports fans, I’d be out of there. So seven-year-old Australian kid Ethan Hall deserves all the awards for powering through all the verses of “Advance Australia Fair” while hiccuping his head off.

Ethan was chosen to sing the national anthem for Adelaide Bite vs Brisbane Bandits baseball game, but whether through nerves or just bad luck, he came down with a case of the hiccups. But he stuck with it, and it was adorable, and when he was finished the crowd gave him a huge round of applause and members of the Adelaide Bite ran over to high-five him.

 

The team later tweeted that Ethan was “hands down the most adorable national anthem singer ever.” I’ll totally give him that one.
