Madonna sparked an outpouring of support on social media yesterday when she performed an impromptu concert on the streets of Paris to honor the victims of the terrorist attacks.

Our guest host Aiden Alexander explains how the pop superstar sang with fans outside the Place de la Republique, along with her 10-year-old son David and guitarist Monte Pittman.

“Everybody knows why we’re here,” she said. “We just want to sing a few songs about peace, just to spread love and joy, and to pay our honor and respect to the people who died almost four weeks ago.”

She performed her songs “Ghosttown” and “Like A Prayer,” as well as John Lennon’s “Imagine.”

Earlier that night, she performed a sold-out concert at the Bercy arena as part of her Rebel Heart tour.

Madonna told concertgoers that a trip to Paris when she was young inspired her to become a musician.
