Learn to Make Candy Roses from a Convict with “Cholo DIY”

As “Cholo DIY” explains, you just warm the candies in hot water until they’re flexible enough to flatten and mold around the end of the skewers like flower petals. You know they’re ready when they’re nice and soft; if they’re still hard you have to wait a bit longer. “So it’s like the opposite of sex, actually.”
