  • Are you a die-hard thrill seeker? I’m not talking about the kind of person that goes on exceptionally slow chases. I’m talking about the kind of person who BASE jumps, skydives, and flies around in one of those crazy glider suits, all before breakfast. If you are, then this might just be the thing for you… provided you also have an exceptionally short attention span.

The U.S. Bank Tower in downtown Los Angeles just opened up its latest attraction: the Skyslide, a one-story slide hanging off the side of the building, 1,000 feet in the air. The scariest part? It’s made of glass. You know, so people on the ground can see you peeing yourself. And you can see them laughing at you for riding a glass slide 1,000 feet in the air.

Riding the Skyslide lasts about four seconds and costs $8. Oh yeah, and just getting to the 70th floor deck will cost you another $25. I haven’t spent that much per second since my nephew’s bar mitzvah! (I don’t have a nephew.)

Still, it looks like the kind of thing that will draw a lot of people’s attention. The AP already tried it, as did Guillermo from Jimmy Kimmel Live (to hilarious results). Check both of those videos out below:
