YouTuber With No Regard for His Own Life Builds 360° Swing in Backyard

Colin Furze built a swing that lets him get 31 feet in the air — with no safety straps.

  • We here at What's Trending are always on the lookout for people willing to put themselves in danger for our amusement. That's why we're so grateful to Colin Furze for bringing the madness to YouTube. We've covered his work before — like the time he built the world's fastest baby carriage and the time he literally knocked his socks off with a rocket launcher — but he never ceases to surprise and amaze with his wildly dangerous stunts.

His latest bit of internet psychopathy is centered on a 360-degree swing he built in his own backyard. The swing sends him over 30 feet in the air — without any straps, harnesses, or any other safety precautions. Check out the original video here:

  • I think I speak for everyone when I say, what the hell is this guy thinking? This would be dangerous enough if he did use restraints, but the fact that he didn't makes this stunt border on lunacy.

Furze has been making YouTube videos since 2006, and has over 3 million subscribers. Though his swing video has racked up over a million views in just a day, it's nowhere near his most popular video. That honor would go to this video of him riding a homemade jet bicycle:

  • Colin Furze may be wildly unsafe, but at least he's equally as entertaining. Here's hoping he goes on to entertain us for years to come.
