  • If you’re a loyal reader of this site, you might remember a post we had a few months ago about a young man who ordered 32-inch jeans, only to instead receive jeans that could only conceivably be worn by someone on stilts. Here’s the tweet that started it all:

  • Turns out this wasn’t an isolated incident — it’s now a FULL-BLOWN TREND, BABY! Our host Anna Lore has more in the video above, but in case you’re at a funeral or something and can’t watch video, here’s a recap:

    1. ASOS sells freakishly long jeans,

    2. People everywhere tweet photos of the jeans, with the general sentiment being “WTF ASOS?”,

    3. ASOS shrugs it off as a deliberate fashion choice,

    4. Repeat steps 1-3.

Seriously, you guys. Look at these freaking jeans. How are you supposed to wear THESE?:

  • ASOS insists that this effect is deliberate. “The ASOS Super Skinny Stacker Jeans are a new menswear style which are cut longer than standard length to allow a gathered effect at the ankles,” a spokesperson for ASOS told BuzzFeed. Yeah, sure, ASOS. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

What do you think? Would you wear these messed-up jeans? Let us know in the comments below or @WhatsTrending on Twitter!
