Taylor Swift Gets Her Privacy Invaded By… Cat People?

Taylor Swift’s cat lady side is well-documented. She dearly loves her cats Meredith Gray and Olivia Benson, and why wouldn’t she? They’re snuggly Scottish Folds, one of the cutest breeds of cat. They’re so cute that fans are stalking Tay-Tay just so they can get pictures of her cats in her apartment window. Wait, what?

Yep, that’s exactly what happened. Twitterer and devoted Swifty Rikki Condos was hanging out in NYC recently when she caught a pic of Meredith, Taylor’s eldest cat baby, peering out the window at her. Here are her original tweets:

This story was brought to the world’s attention when it was covered in The Cut and BuzzFeed, neither of whom had remotely appropriate reactions. The Cut’s post is short enough to be borderline incomprehensible, and BuzzFeed’s is just plain gawky. So let me be the very first person writing on a website to say, “what the hell? This is not okay. Maybe don’t stalk anyone, even if they’re famous?”
