  • Whether you think President Obama is the second coming of FDR or a Muslim from Kenya who’s been putting off his ultimate plan of destroying America for seven years, you gotta admit: in the last year of his term, he’s put together quite the highlight reel of DGAF moments. There was the time he did Slow Jam the News on Fallon, the White House Press Correspondent’s Dinner mic drop heard ’round the world, and the downplaying of daughter Malia’s alleged doobie-toking, among others.

The latest addition to the reel consists of two photos of the Prez that became Twitter memes this week. Up first is the tracksuit meme, which is all about a pic of Obama in a black tracksuit snapped back in ’09. As far as we can tell, the meme really took off due to this tweet:

  • Obama, being a dad, makes dumb fashion choices sometimes. No, I’m not talking about the tracksuit in general, but the fact that he mixed Nike with Adidas — something Twitter user @yungakamaru_ was quick to point out:

  • GQ has the full story of the legendary tracksuit meme. As for us, we’ve gotta keep going! There’s a whole other Obama meme to cover!

The President was in Southeast Asian nation Laos recently, and did what any American tourist in Southeast Asia would (and should) do: he drank fresh coconut water. Mic tweeted the image of Obama slurping down some of that sweet, potassium-rich fluid with the caption, “Chill @POTUS™.” It was retweeted over 1,000 times, and, along with other photos of Obama with a coconut, earned plenty of commentary. Here’s the original tweet, followed by some of the other tweets:
