On May 30th, President Donald Trump tweeted this message: “Despite the constant negative press covfefe.”
And then… nothing. For hours, there was no correction, no follow-up. Nothing. The world was left baffled by the mysterious meaning of “covfefe.”
It took me awhile, but I finally realized Trump might have meant “coverage.” Either way, “covfefe” sounds way more entertaining.
Covfefe made Twitter explode as some of the keenest online minds tried to figure out what the president of the United States was talking about.

Urban Dictionary has even offered a definition for Trump’s mysterious word.
Noun. When you want to say coverage, but your hands are too small to hit all the letters on your keyboard.
The tweet was left up for hours before it was unfortunately taken down. Trump played it off as a goof, tweeting:

After having a chuckle about his late-night Twitter typo, things got a bit more serious as Trump announced he was pulling out of the Paris Agreement to Combat Climate Change.
