Casey Anthony isn’t the only Casey Anthony in the world. Those upset with the verdict in the much publicized Anthony trial, in which the young Florida mother was acquitted of murdering her two-year-old daughter, seem to not realize that.

A forty-three-year-old man in Darby, Pennsylvania has been receiving death threats on Facebook from mistaken users who think he is America’s most hated mother. Things get worse for the Anthony: Two of his sons also bear the name.

“After the verdict that day, it went crazy,” Anthony told NBC Philadelphia’s Marisa Brahney. “It was like everybody wanted to know and wanted to comment on this Casey Anthony situation.”

“It went from being comical and scary to just being outright, make you mad as — you know,”Anthony told NBC Philadelphia. Cause these people don’t even know you, they don’t have a clue.”

In Anthony’s defense, he did have the name for nearly 20 years before the other Anthony was even born. People on the site looking for some personal vengeance in the death of CayleeAnthony should realize that — and also that he looks nothing like the young Florida woman. Or,maybe she just has a really good disguise.

Mass hysteria around the verdict has been a problem for those involved in the case. Juror 12 of the case has even quit her job, and gone into hiding in order to combat criticism for not finding the Florida mother “guilty.”

Here is a video of Anthony (the man) being interviewed by a Philadelphia NBC affiliate. We’re betting that if his Facebook stalkers just took a look at him they would realize their mistake.
