The outages began in Africa, Europe and the Middle East on Monday, and by Tuesday, Blackberry service issues were being reported in India and South America. On Wednesday, the problem hit the U.S. and complaints about the failures and inability to use Blackberry’s instant message service (BBM) began flooding the web.
RIM co-CEO, Mike Lazaridis, posted a video this morning apologizing and updating their users. Lazaridis said, “It’s too soon to say this issue is fully resolved.”
