From Julian Assange to celebrity birthday wishes to a woman claiming to have Justin Bieber’s baby, plenty of trending topics brewed online while you were sleeping.
Is it another “baby, baby, baby, ohhh” for Justin Bieber? The pop star is currently in the middle of a paternity lawsuit with 20-year-old Californian Mariah Yeater, who says the teen idol is the father of her four-month-old son. Yeater claims Bieber impregnated her backstage during a Los Angeles performance on October 25, 2010. In a court affidavit, the young mother says she wants Bieber to “provide adequate support”for the baby. Bieber’s representatives have said the rumors are false.
In other tween music news, Big Time Rush member, Kendall Schmidt celebrates his 21st birthday today, and fans of his and his boy band couldn’t be more thrilled. Not only is Schmidt receiving a ton of birthday wishes via Twitter, his group is set to perform four Beatles classics in their upcoming TV movie, “Big Time Movie.”
Trouble is in the air once again for Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange. The 40-year-old Australian has lost his appeal against extradition to answer allegations about rape charges in Sweden. Lord Justice John Thomas and Justice Duncan Ousely rejected Assange’s claims that it would be unfair to send him to Scandinavia to be questioned about sexual assault accusations made by two Swedish women last year.
