  • Ladies and gentlemen, the new inductees of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have been announced! As always, there’s plenty of controversy surrounding the long-awaited results of which artists have been crowned worthy of being honored at the iconic Cleveland museum. Suffice to day, this year’s list screams of ’80s and ’60s nostalgia. The musicians include Guns n’ Roses, the Beastie Boys, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, the Small Faces/The Faces, the late singer-songwriter Laura Nyro and 60s “Mellow Yellow” man Donovan.

The nominees who didn’t make the cut this year are Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, the Cure, Heart, Eric B. and Rakim, Rufus with Chaka Khan, Donna Summer, War, Freddie King and the Spinners. Oddly enough, people online aren’t talking so much about certain nominees being dismissed. They’re championing the legendary rockers of Rush.

  • Here’s a look at some opinions on Facebook and Twitterverse.
