  • During the digital age, presidential election time is all about views and online buzz. Visible Measures did some digging and rounded up the top five viral presidential campaigns of 2011.

    According to the data retrieved, Rick Perry’s Strong campaign comes in at the top of the pack with over 13 million views. The ad has inspired over 250 spoofs and parodies, which have driven over half of its total views. Strong is followed by Cain’s “Smoking” ad, Perry’s Proven Leadership spot, a video from Obama from earlier in the year, and Ron Paul’s attack on Newt Gingrich: Newt Gingrich: Serial Hypocrisy.
