  • Chanukah, also known as the festival of lights, is an 8-day Jewish holiday that begins on December 20th. The holiday commemorates the rededication of the temple of the Holy Temple in Israel during the 2nd Centure BCE. It is observed by lighting a candle each night on a nine-branch candelabrum, also known as a Menorah.

Aish.com, the largest Jewish content website, posted their Chanukah themed music video inspired by The Rock of Ages, which has gotten almost 300,000 views:

  • After lighting the candles, it is customary for children and families to play the dreidle game. Don’t have one on hand? Check out the iDreidle app.
