Nick Cannon Hospitalized For Minor Kidney Failure

After spending Christmas in Aspen with his family, singer and actor Nick Cannon has been hospitalized. On Wednesday, his wife Mariah Carey tweeted, “please pray for Nick, as he’s fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure. #mybraveman.” She included a photo of her helping Cannon take a drink in his hospital bed. The songstress also wrote on her blog the following request:

We’re trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful.

Cannon tweeted later on Wednesday that he is “being transferred to a hospital in L.A. Thank you all for all your love, prayers and concern. You know me … I will be a’ight.”
