Although his handle, @BrettFavre4 is yet to be verified, he’s already amassed more than 12,000 followers. He’s only following four accounts, including a former teammate, Packers wide receiver Donald Driver.
He’s joined Twitter on an interesting day, as the Twittersphere is already discussing. An NFL investigation of New Orleans Saints concluded on Friday. According to the findings, the Saints allegedly maintained bounty program funded mostly by players who violated NFL rules during the seasons between 2009-2011 that would pay players for causing the most harm to opposing athletes. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Favre was allegedly targeted by these players in 2010 while he played for the Minnesota Vikings.
