A petition calling for the arrest of Trayvon Martin’s shooter is nearing 1 million, as celebrities come out in support. George Zimmerman, who shot the an unarmed 17-year-old, was released after the incident. But, as details arose that suggested Zimmerman might be guilty of (some degree of) murder, the US Justice Department opened an investigation. Zimmerman, however, has not yet been taken into custody, prompting a social media petition, which has recieved an all-star cast of celebrity support, from Spike Lee to Michael Oher.
