Video of a chaotic scene of students running from a pepper-spraying incident made it’s way to Youtube this morning. The Los Angeles Times reports that at least two people were hospitalized and several were injured at Santa Monica College, after a protest of raising costs during an administrative board meeting.
“I saw all these students rushing and they were crying,” said one student, Cameron Espinoza, 19, who was outside the board meeting. “I couldn’t stop coughing.” It was reported that the protest swelled beyond what was expected and overwhelmed the small room.
