Monday night on Hannity, FOX News contributor and former Democratic strategist Bob Beckel engaged in a heated debate with Tea Party activist Jennifer Stefano -- bringing the squabble to a shocking hault after Beckel dropped the F-bomb.
It seems that, having carried the argument over from the commercial break, Beckel didn't realize he was on air during the incident. Once he was convinced that they were actually live, he offered an embarrassed apology.
Beckel went on to tell Hannity that he should run his show better and, cowering from his gaffe, admitted that he thought he'd be fired once the episode ended.
Post-incident, Beckel went on to tweet:
I apologize to anyone who heard me on Hannity. I honestly thought we were off air. I just may not be cut out for the tv business. Peace
