Fiona Apple Covers McCartney on ‘Jimmy Fallon’ to Promote New Album (VIDEO)

Fiona Apple appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Monday to promote her first new album in seven years, entitled, The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do.

Her album title barely fits in a tweet! Not so wise for promotional purposes, but we can just call it The Idler Wheel… And it’s now available on iTunes.

Accompanied by The Roots, Apple performed McCartney’s “Let Me Roll It” on the rock legend’s 70th birthday, along with her own new song, “Anything We Want.”

Fans expressed their excitement over her performance and album on Twitter.
