  • As discussed this morning on NBC’s The Today Show, Mike Tyson’s one-man show, Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth, is set to be directed by Spike Lee for a limited, six-night engagement on Broadway at the Longacre Theatre.

The Brooklyn-born champion heavyweight boxer and his Academy Award-nominated director are each making their Broadway debuts, while in good hands with producer James L. Nederlander.

The autobiographical piece is written by Tyson’s wife, Kiki Tyson, along with Randy Johnson. Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth first hit the stage at the MGM Grand’s Hollywood Theater in Las Vegas last March, with Johnson as director.

In anticipation of the Broadway show — which runs from July 31-Aug. 5 — Mike Tyson has been a trending topic on Twitter all day, with @MikeTyson and @SpikeLee doing more than their parts to promote their theatrical endeavor, #UndisputedTruth.

  • It was also announced today that Mike Tyson would appear as a character in the new WWE wrestling game.
