82-Year-Old Slays "Bodies" On America's Got Talent

Definitely nothing wrong with him.

  • 82-year-old John Hetlinger was quick to win the respect of the America’s Got Talent judges after revealing he is a retired aerospace engineer who played a role in the repair of the Hubble Telescope. But things go from admiration to slack-jawed awe when Hetlinger opens his mouth to perform his piece.

You never expect to see someone who could be your grandfather go on national TV and scream out a version of Drowning Pool’s metal hit “Bodies,” but that’s exactly what happened here. And honestly, the dude does not disappoint. Even better, the judges are too shocked to cut him off. Ultimately, Hetlinger finishes his song with a bang, and not from a sudden heart attack, either. 10/10, would watch fifty more times.

Hetlinger decided to come on the show after he “got into karaoke” during retirement. What’s your go-to karaoke song? Let us know in the comments or tweet us at @WhatsTrending.
