Dancing 12-Year-Old Pukes on Paula Abdul

So you think you can what now?

  • When 12-year-old Tahani decided to try out for this special kids’ season of So You Think You Can Dance, she probably didn’t expect to wind up vomiting all over the judges. But life often doesn’t turn out how we expect it to, so we just have to roll with the punches. Or puke, as the case may be.

The poor kid performed her dance routine fantastically, earning herself a ticket to the Academy in a unanimous decision from all three judges. It wasn’t until she started giving out celebratory hugs that everything went wrong. Nigel Lythgoe was safe, but when it was Paula Abdul’s turn, in Tahani’s words, Paula "just squeezed [her] too tight, and all the happiness came out… on her jacket.”

That’s certainly one way to look at it, Tahani.

Fortunately, Paula was very supportive of the girl as she vomited all over the place, and Tahani herself seemed too overjoyed at her success to be particularly upset. Though she did apologize for um, getting happiness all over Paula’s jacket.

Would you keep your cool as well as Paula did in a puke-on-me situation? Comment or tweet us how you’d deal @WhatsTrending.
