Fire Stunt Goes Wrong on 'America's Got Talent'

  • Usually by the time any magicians or daredevils doing dangerous stunts get to a place where we can view them, they’ve got their routines down pat and we know nothing is actually going to happen to them. That’s part of the game — you get the thrill of watching danger but the safety of secretly knowing it’s going to be okay.

    But even the greatest make mistakes sometimes, and America’s Got Talent daredevil duo Ryan Stock and AmberLynn just experienced that firsthand on the show.

    During a stunt in which AmberLynn shot a flaming arrow towards a target in Stock’s mouth, something went wrong, and the arrow missed and hit him in the chest. Fortunately, he didn’t actually catch on fire and the performance was halted immediately, but it was certainly a jarring moment for the audience, judges, and performers alike.
