  • Netflix has made much of their material available for downloading. They are currently working on the rest of the library, both Netflix originals and other licensed material. That means that if you’re on the subway, you can, or will be able to in the future, stream titles like Fuller House or The West Wing.

This means that flights and road trips may never be the same. Imagine being able to watch stand-up specials while driving (or more accurately passenger-ing, don’t Netflix and Drive) to the Grand Canyon. Well, that’s a possibility now. It’s one of many steps Netflix has taken over the years to improve themselves. Now if only they had a feature that notifies you when you've been browsing for 20 minutes without selecting anything.

  • Pretty sweet news, overall. I personally am hoping that Netflix would get on alphabetizing their full catalogue. I want to see all the titles, not just the ones recommended for me. You don't know me, Netflix algorithm! I have eclectic tastes!
