Teenage Mutant “Alien” Turtles?! Web Reacts to Michael Bay’s Re-imagination of Kids Classic

The much-loved pizza-eating ninja action team will be getting a serious make over from Transformers director Michael Bay: they’ll no longer be mutant ninjas, but aliens. Speaking at the Nickelodeon Upfront last week, the director dropped the news:

“When you see this movie, kids are going to believe one day these Turtles actually do exist when we are done with this movie. These turtles are from an alien race, and they are going to be tough, edgy, funny and completely loveable.”

Bay has become infamous for over-the-top actions sequences. Of the many parodies of his directing style, “If Everyday was Directed by Michael Bay,” could be the best:
