A documentary of the last weeks of Philip Gould’s life, which was partly dedicated to British political strategy, is a sobering, yet inspiring tale of courage and acceptance in the face of death. “If you accept death, fear disappears,” he said.
The film shows him reflecting on life and death in a remarkably calm way.
“I’ve had more moments of happiness in the last 5 months, than perhaps the last few years,” he said. The launch of his book has come with a popular Twitter hashtag, “#WhenIDie” and been retweeted from the likes of former Prime Minister Tony Blair.
