Actress Olivia Munn recently revealed that she essentially had to pay to make a cameo in the all-female remake "Ocean's 8."
A woman-led remake of the heist movie franchise "Ocean's Eleven" is currently in production. "Ocean's 8" stars Sandra Bullock as the mastermind behind a heist at the Met Gala. Bullock's character recruits Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, and Awkafina
A heist movie set at the glamorous Met Gala requires a lot of famous faces.
Reportedly, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, and fashion designers Alexander Wang and Zac Posen make an appearance in the Met Gala scene.
However, not everyone got the star treatment.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly Radio, Olivia Munn discussed making a cameo in the movie, explaining "They’re like do your own glam and I got the dress and all that and then you submit the bills for it because I’m part of your movie. And then [the producers are] like, ‘Oh no, the bills come right back to you.'”
“It actually cost me money to be part of Ocean’s Eight,” Munn said.
Of course, not everyone sees that as an inconvenience. Heather asks, "Isn't being in the presence of Rihanna priceless???? You got off easy."
I mean, yes, Heather, that is a priceless experience.
But Olivia Munn probably was anywhere near Rihanna. She probably didn't even meet Mindy Kaling!
Perez Hilton says, "This is something she should have kept quiet, I think. U???" Why should somebody keep quiet about losing money on a day of work?
What do you think? Should Olivia Munn have kept mum, or should she speak out about losing money by working? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter at @WhatsTrending..
