Will Ferrell vs. Chad Smith vs. Lars Ulrich: The Ultimate Upcoming Dopplegänger Drumoff

The hilariously epic drum battle between Will Ferrell and the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ drummer, Chad Smith, on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon this past May was an instant hit.

It incorporated the perfect mix of insults and some sweet drum solos. The lookalikes brought the audience to life and finished off with a surprise performance by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The comedian/musician duo went on to search for the next drum battle contestant and with great success, they found their guy: Lars Ulrich, founding member/drummer of Metallica – the third dopplegänger of the Ferrell and Smith team.
