The former Destiny’s Child bandmates came together to film the music video for Michelle Williams’ new track, Say Yes.
The video was released this morning on Good Morning America, and is off Williams’ upcoming album, Journey to Freedom, which comes out Sept. 9, but Say Yes is available on iTunes now.
The 33-year-old Grammy award-winning singer wanted to get her “sisters” together to spread a positive message to the world.
“There’s not enough music like this is the world. I’m proud to be a part of it,” Williams told GMA.
It was a fitting day to debut the song since it’s been exactly 12 years since Destiny’s Child released Bootylicious.
Although the bandmates have since split up, they’re all still keeping busy. Since Destiny’s Child, Williams has appeared in Aida, The Color Purple, Chicago and Fela.
