‘Breaking Bad’ Spinoff ‘Better Call Saul’ Renewed for Second Season Before First Even Premieres

  • ‘Better Call Saul’ starring Bob Odenkirk was originally slated to premiere in November, but upon announcing renewal, AMC also announced the show’s premiere would be pushed into early 2015.

    The second season will consist of 13 episodes; the first will be 10 episodes. Additionally, Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan will now be serving as co-showrunner. He had previously not planned on being involved in the show full-time.
