America’s favorite family may be making a comeback! Yep, you heard that right. “Full House” is in the works for a revival!

The reboot will not be like any other because the majority of the original cast will be returning to the show, according to E! News.

Uncle Jesse (aka John Stamos) is taking lead for the reboot. Along with Stamos, the original producer of the show Bob Boyett and creator Jeff Franklin are highly involved with the revival plans as well. Fans are most likely to see Danny Tanner, Joey Gladstone, Stephanie Tanner, DJ Tanner and Kimmy Gibler reprised by the original actors they love. However, missing from the original cast will be Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin) and Michelle (the Olsen Twins) who have not committed to coming back yet.

Warner Bros. TV is interested in taking on the reboot, Variety reported. The show originally aired from 1987 to 1995 and is still gaining publicity through their repeats on “Nick at Nite.” The show is still attracting fans who were too young to remember the original series and viewers who weren’t even born yet. “Full House” was the most anticipated on ABC’s TGIF lineup in the 90’s and will be the most recent show from it to make a comeback.

The initial idea behind the reboot may have been fueled by the successful spinoff of the sitcom “Boy Meets World,” which premiered earlier this summer on the Disney Channel.

All we can do now is wait patiently and hope that this reboot actually comes together. “Have Mercy!”
