Kelly Clarkson performed at Shea’s Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, NY, on Saturday night, storming through hits like “Breakaway,” “Since U Been Gone,” and “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You).” But, she also pulled out a cover that sent the audience into a frenzy. They all thought it would be Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me,” as Clarkson performed that tune last week in Charlotte, North Carolina — but Clarkson stunned everyone with this soulful rendition of Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.”

After the song, Clarkson commented on Taylor Swift’s songwriting skills: “She can write a hook, I’m just sayin’.”
