OK Go Go To Tokyo For “I Won’t Let You Down” Music Video

  • The new OK Go video is as much magic trick as it is choreography. There must be some level of animation in here, some trickery with the camera to create the illusion that we’re looking down on a scene from a Broadway musical from 200 feet in the air.

    The video for “I Won’t Let You Down” is the brainchild of Japanese artist Morihiro Harano, and the band certainly appreciates what he was able to come up with.

    I’m doubtful that the entire video is part of a single take, as there are no visible cranes in any of the 360-degree shots spinning around the band and seemingly hundreds of girls with umbrellas.
