Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan Sing Their Way Through “The Last Five Years”

You guys. It’s. HERE. The first trailer for Jason Robert Brown’s film adaptation of his own “The Last Five Years” starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan? What caused their relationship to end? I guess we’ll just have to see the way it started first.

Both lead actors are Tony Award nominees, although Kendrick got her nod for her first Broadway role ever at age 12 (Yes, I’m a huge AK47 fan and will trivia knowledge fight you to prove it.) Jordan, of course, was one of the stars of NBC’s short-lived musical series, Smash. Of course, any musical theater nerd would be wary of seeing any kind of film representation of their dearest Cathy and Jamie, but I think this trailer is worth getting excited for.
