  • Blake Leeper may be training for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, but he found time to stop by the Samsung Smart Lounge to talk about his goals and how technology can help people like him compete at a high level.

Despite missing both legs and using prosthetics since he was 12 months old, Leeper runs 100 meters in 10.91 seconds, and aspires to be the fastest person in the world, with or without legs. Judging from his positive attitude, he has a good shot at accomplishing that.

“Instead of asking, ‘Why me?’ I flipped it,” he said. “I asked myself, “Well, why not me?” I’m meant for this. ‘Why not me?’ I’m strong enough for this.”
