Former Project Runway contestant and designer Nick Verreos stopped by the Samsung Blogger Lounge to talk about the future of wearable technology. Essentially, there’s no excuse for not being fashionable.
He showed off a Swarovski crystal with a built-in device to track your heart rate and burned calories.
Says Verreos, “An actress could be wearing this on the red carpet, and know how many calories they worked up from one end of the carpet to the other.”
As a fashion designer, Verreos had some preconceptions about what CES attendees would be like, and was shocked to see “skinny jeans, hipster beards,” and other examples of metrosexual confidence. “You guys are stylin'” he said.
