Will Ferrell’s new comedy is called Daddy’s Home and we’re pretty sure it’s in production right now.

Ferrell showed up at a New Orleans Pelicans game against the Los Angeles Lakers, taking the opportunity to prove his coolness by attempting a few half-court shots. After some rambling that will hopefully make a little more sense after seeing the first half of the film, Ferrell throws the first ball at a cheerleader who immediately collapses.
After a second shot (an airball), security swiftly removed him from the arena, in what, I assure you, was all a staged and rehearsed event.
Here’s the logline for Daddy’s Home: “When a divorced guy’s ex-wife re-marries someone way more uptight, he re-enters her life and wreaks havoc.”

You can see pretty clearly there that the announcer is Paul Scheer, of The League and NTSF:SD:SUV fame, though he’s not listed on the cast list on IMDb. (Will Ferrell movies always have them hot cameos!)
