Magic Mike XXL will be out July 1, and stars Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash, Adam Rodriguez and Gabriel Iglesias, plus their abs, butts and maybe penises. Steven Soderbergh is not back to direct XXL, though director Gregory Jacobs previously worked as an assistant director to Soderbergh on the Oceans Eleven films and others.
The trailer instigated a big discussion among the What’s Trending team — namely, is the Channing Tatum body the perfect male body type? I certainly thought so! But, the women of What’s Trending didn’t necessarily agree. Some women, apparently, prefer the stocky, bearded, Jewy types. Who knew?!
