Guitars and electronic music just don’t mix, right? One is the symbol of rock, the other more known for button-pressing and beat-making. But one man is her to bridge the divide, using only his crazy skill… and some very expensive equipment.
The video description, which links to the soundcloud page of Igor Stolarsky, offers the info: “Everything aside from the drums is being performed live via the Fishman TriplePlay midi pickup, Livid Guitar Wing, and Ableton Live. The syncopated bass hits in the A section are clips triggered via foot controller, everything else is either performed live or looped from the performance.”
