  • There has to be some way to wring actual science education out of “Jurassic World” and its overindulgent special effects, and VSauce host Michael Stevens is going to find it.

VSauce scored an interview with Chris Pratt at YouTube Space LA, and also sat down with paleontologist Jack Horner, the guy who provided scientific advice for all the Jurassic Park movies (not to be confused with dinosaur supervisor Phil Tippett, who had ONE JOB) to lay down some accurate information about the mostly-extinct species.

You can count on Chris Pratt to be a loveable goofball and ask the important questions, like is it safe to say that our cars run on the ghosts of dinosaurs? Why are kids so fascinated by dinosaurs? Why do we like watching them freak out and kill people? And how many bad puns can we fit into this conversation?

By the end of the video, you’ll be entertained AND you’ll have learned stuff.
