  • More and more internet stars are making the jump into filmmaking, and this summer there are plenty of options to choose from. From children’s films to horror to documentaries, there’s probably something for you.

  • Frog Kingdom

  • The US dub of this Chinese animated children’s film features the voices of Bella Thorne, Cameron Dallas, Gregg Sulkin, Rob Scheider and plenty of other personalities familiar to the web. When the Frog King announces that the winner of the Froglympics will win his daughter’s hand in marriage, the Princess (Bella Thorne) runs away and teams up with Freddie (Cameron Dallas) to train for the games herself — and then defend her kingdom from an evil serpent. The film is being released tomorrow, June 30, on Vimeo On Demand and on DVD.

  • The Chosen

  • Kian Lawley is starring in a supernatural thriller also featuring Mykayla Sohn, Elizabeth Keener and Angelica Chitwood. When a child-stealing demon attaches itself to a little girl, her family is thrust into a battle against time in order to save the girl and send the demon back to hell. The movie premieres on July 24 in theaters and On Demand, so check out for details.

  • SMOSH: The Movie

  • From the creators of SMOSH, Ian and Anthony go inside YouTube to delete an embarrassing video of Anthony before his high school crush, Anna, has the chance to see it. They run into one YouTube celebrity after another on their quest to rewrite history before their high school reunion. The movie will be released on July 24 and is available for preorder at, and you can buy tickets for the world premiere in LA on July 22 or the pre-screening in Anaheim on July 23.

  • YouTuber Jenn McAllister (jennxpenn) makes her movie debut with Lauren Elizabeth (LoveLaurenElizabeth) as two high schoolers on an art history field trip who get mistaken for art theives. The film will be released on July 21 and you can pre-order it at
