Bringing her famous friends on stage with her is kind of Taylor Swift’s thing these days, but who knew that would extend to Natalie Maines and … Alanis Morissette? Does Taylor’s young audience even know who that is? More important question, how many of them know what “go down on you in a theater” means?

Taylor is in the midst of a five-night stay at LA’s Staples Center, and lots of celebrities have turned up to see her – for instance, Ellen DeGeneres in a sparkly tutu, Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks singing “Goodbye Earl,” and Alanis Morissette singing hits from “Jagged Little Pill” which came out 20 years ago, before many of Taylor’s fans were born.

Swift told the audience that Alanis “defined the music of her decade” and “taught us you could get really, really mad if you wanted to,” a lesson Taylor has clearly taken to heart.

There were also appearances from “Orange is the New Black” star Uzo Abuda and Lakers star Kobe Bryant. Plus Jessica Alba was in the audience with a whole bunch of children, and Kate Hudson showed up with her boys (but had really bad seats).
