If the internet’s guess is right and Nickelodeon’s “The Splat” is a 24/7 channel for our favorite 90s cartoons, modern society may grind to a halt as every Millennial ever camps out in a pillow fort in front of the TV.

So far there’s just been this teaser video featuring “The Rugrats,” “Doug” and “Ren & Stimpy” and a viral #TheSplatIsComing campaign that has Twitter freaking out a bit. But the popular theory, as detailed by Daily Dot, is that it’s a new channel, or maybe a rebranding of Teen Nick, that will bring back all the shows of our childhood – in which case they’d better put “Clarissa Explains It All” and “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” in there.
We’ll be impatiently watching The Splat’s new social media accounts to see what all this is about.
