If you haven’t watched Amy Schumer hosting “Saturday Night Live,” do yourself a favor and get caught up. I haven’t been this entertained by SNL in a long time.

In her hilarious opening monologue, Schumer dealt with being a woman in Hollywood and needing to be a good role model for girls. Referring to the child actor who played her younger self in “Trainwreck,” she said, “We have to be a role model for these little girls, because who do they have? All they have, literally, is the Kardashians. She doesn’t have a Malala poster in her room, trust me. Is that a great message for little girls? A whole family of women who take the faces they were born with as a light suggestion?”

She also joked about bathing her 18-month-old niece, asking Hillary Clinton what she drinks and meeting Bradley Cooper, who is apparently so hot in person that “you would just grab your ankles, like you wouldn’t even mean to.”

I really ought to catch up on “Inside Amy Schumer” sometime soon.
