You probably know that feeling of icy horror when you realize you’ve left your smartphone in a public bathroom somewhere and it might be gone forever. Fortunately, the man who found this iPhone in a Tasmanian bar was a good sort – though he couldn’t resist filming a video on it first.
“Hey mate, I found your phone in the shitter!” he yelled. “You were doing lines on it and then you forgot to take it home!” (I’m guessing he made that part up.)
“Ahhh, you fuckin’ idiot!” one of his friends chimed in.
The man then introduced the phone’s owner to his girlfriend, his friends, and a few random bar patrons before helpfully handing it in to the bartender.
The owner had nearly two minutes of cheerfully drunken weirdness waiting for him the next day, but he didn’t seem to mind at all. “Faith in humanity restored,” he wrote in the video description.
