Every James Bond Gadget Ever

One of the best parts of the James Bond franchise is all the gadgets he’s given by the Q Branch, the fictional research and development division of the British Secret Service. At the start of every film, Q meets with Agent 007 and fits him up with a bunch of neat, oddly specific secret weapons – and amazingly, Bond gets the perfect opportunity to use every single one of them to defeat the bad guys by the end of the film. It’s like Q is psychic.

Burger Fiction went through all the films, from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig, and compiled clips of these gadgets – things like a briefcase that can fire 20 rounds of ammunition, the famous Aston Martin fitted with a periscope (not the app, children, the piece of submarine equipment), guns, ejection seats and more gadgets than the Batmobile, an assortment of listening and recording devices, cigarettes that are also guns… Generally lots of guns.

As we get to the more current movies and technology gets more sophisticated, there are things like X-ray sunglasses, fingerprint scanners, and smartphones that can do basically anything.

In total, there are 193 gadgets throughout the series.
