How can the happiest day of your life get any happier? Try adding Amy Poehler and Carrie Brownstein to the guest list. Better yet, have them OFFICIATE your wedding. That’s what happened for a lucky couple in Pasadena, California yesterday.
Brownstein was a hosting a discussion about her book Hunger Makes Me a Modern Girl: A Memoir and Poehler was there for support. The event was conveniently held at Pasadena Presbyterian Church and Brownstein just happens to also conveniently be an ordained minister. Which the couple knew in advance, and came the event with their wedding license and the intent of making the unusual request.
Well, unusual and unplanned is what these ladies do best, so the duo was all game. Watch as Poehler tickles the ivories and Brownstein ushers the happy couple into holy matrimony.
